2020 has been a difficult year for all of us. Even beyond the pandemic we have suffered political upheaval like never before, failing leadership across the world, wildfires raging on multiple continents, environmental catastrophes sweeping the globe, violent oppression of civil right movements, and the decay of international cooperation, among other things.
